In his fifty-three books Jack only dedicated eight of them.
Only seven were to specific people.
From 1927 to 1945 only one of his books had a dedication, in 1931 he dedicated Lasseter’s Last Ride; “The pioneering spirit that never dies”.
Then after three dedications in the 1940’s there was a flurry of three successive dedications (almost at the end of Jack’s literary career).
